July 23, 2010 - Governor creates new authority to secure bio, high tech companies - Phoenix Business Journal. Tempe-based Kinetic Muscles Inc. won a $2.8 million NIH grant to conduct clinical trials of its Hand Mentor device for rehabilitation of stroke survivors.

June 7, 2010 - KMI wins BRDG-SPAN grant to economics of home therapy. Kinetic Muscles Inc., an innovator in robotic neurotherapy technology, today announced it has received a $2.8 million grant from the National Institute of Neurological Disorder and Stroke (NINDS) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that will support delivery of KMI’s revolutionary teletherapy service to stroke survivors in rural areas.

April 5, 2010 - KMI wins Phase II SBIR grant from Department of Defense. Kinetic Muscles Inc., a leading innovator of neurorehabilitation technology, announced it has received a 2-year Phase II SBIR grant to study a new treatment for veterans returning from active duty with traumatic brain injury (TBI).

March 22, 2010 - KMI announces strategic distribution agreement with Mobility Research. Kinetic Muscles Inc., a leading developer of stroke therapy technology, today announced a strategic distribution agreement with Mobility Research (“Mobility”), also of Tempe, that will allow Mobility to market KMI’s products in specific international markets.

January 26, 2010 - Kinetic Muscles Inc. receives patent notice of allowance from US Patent and Trademark office. Kinetic Muscles, Inc, (“KMI”) , a leader in providing home-based rehabilitation therapy for stroke victims, today announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has issued a Notice of Allowance for KMI’s U.S. patent application, titled “System and Method for Neuromuscular Reeducation.”
