KMI was founded in 2001 with the mission to improve the quality of life of stroke survivors and lower the cost of care for millions of people who have suffered strokes.

Our research has been largely funded by the National Institutes of Health. Currently the Hand Mentor™ and Foot Mentor™ are commercially available.
